Enjoyed the GusGus concert at San Francisco’s Bimbo’s 365 Club last night. The dancing bimbos drooling over the young men in front of us were entertaining too! Nevertheless, I will definitely go back to this venue, it kind of reminds me of the Commodore which opened in 1929, two years previous to Bimbo’s.

Everybody should have an electric thermos, or “water elephant” as its affectionately called by a thoughtful friend who gave us this gift. It’s awesome and we use it all the time!

Labour Day, the holiday of workers.
Speaking of labour… Congratulations to Kaori on the long awaited arrival of twin boys Haluhumi & Nobuaki born July 16 just outside Tokyo and also congratulations to Phylly on the birth of her daughter Eva born August 16 in Vancouver. Wow!
