Movie Night Again
With a little babysitting swap we got out to see the The White Countess…the story takes place in Shanghai 1936, actors Ralph Fiennes and Natasha Richardson bond wonderfully together in times of personal and political circumstance and chaos.
The Count
Vienna’s likes to say “ah-ah-ah,” her new favourite character is the Count from Sesame Street. She is beginning to count to nine too.
She’s also developed an interest in skirts and dances around like Zoe the ballerina from Sesame Street too. Her favourite CD is currently “Splish Splash - Bath Time Fun.”
Semillon Chardonnay
Finished off a bottle of Semillon Chardonnay its a de alcoholized wine from Australia and it tastes pretty darn delicious.
Cakes
I found cake in Cupertino!
Have You Not Heard
Ok, this was the title of News at Eleven’s last album, but really what I wanted to say here is….
Drum roll please… Vienna will be a big sister later this year! I’ve been waiting to seem family and friends to share the news in person but having friends around the globe makes this a little difficult. Surprise! And for those of you I don’t see or whom don’t get around to see this post you’ll see the official announcement in due time.
Oh, yes, as for News at Eleven, their second album is out, I’m touting this project as our dear friends put a lot of heart, sweat and devotion into this one. I’m proud to say I am the prime photographer for their CD inside and out, check it out!
Happy New Year
While most people are probably feeling a little hung over today I actually feel a little revived after a nice dinner at home with friends and a out to a fun romantic comedy (Casanova) ending just before midnight and in time to ring in the new year. Thanks to Nanny for watching Vienna and her buddy Gabriel letting the big kids escape for the remainder of the year!
Movie Nights
Got out a couple times this week, catching up for the rest of the year!
Saw Brokeback Mountain, Fun with Dick and Jane and tried out a new little dinner place in Willow Glen, if you want to try Vin Santo I’m game to go back so give me a jingle…
Holidays with Nanny
Its the 26th and we’re off to pick up Nanny from the airport — we’ll celebrate Christmas again this afternoon! A little spoiling I’m sure…
